Netflix is expanding its anime offerings in March with the return of popular titles that were previously less accessible. In this regard, one of the most anticipated premieres is Red-haired Snow White, a romantic anime that will join the platform’s catalog on March 14, after being available exclusively on Crunchyroll. This anime, produced by the studio Bones, known for works like Boku no Hero Academia and Mob Psycho 100, consists of 24 episodes and an OVA, adapting the manga by Sorata Akiduki.
The path of the apothecary
The plot of Red-Haired Snow White follows Shirayuki, a red-haired herbalist who becomes the focus of attention of Prince Raj, who wishes to make her his concubine. Faced with this situation, Shirayuki decides to flee, leaving behind her apothecary and facing a series of challenges, including symbolic poisonings along her way. The series, which initially premiered in 2015, offers a blend of fantasy and romance that has captivated the audience, although its access had been complicated for viewers in Spain due to licensing restrictions.
In addition to Red Snow White, Netflix is launching other anime this month, including the first season of Frieren and all the content from KonoSuba!, which includes its movie and the Megumin spin-off. However, confirmation is still awaited regarding the available dubs for Red Snow White at the time of its release, which is crucial for many anime fans. With these additions, Netflix aims to strengthen its anime catalog and satisfy a growing and increasingly demanding audience.
