SkyShowtime offers one of the most affordable streaming options in Spain, and it allows up to five unique user profiles per account. Creating separate profiles is essential if youโre sharing your subscription with roommates or family, as it helps keep your recommendations and watchlists personalized and relevant.
Creating a new profile on SkyShowtime
To add a new profile, log into the SkyShowtime app or website and click on your main avatar. Then, select the plus icon (+) on the right side of the screen. The platform will prompt you to choose an avatar, usually a familiar face from its catalogue, such as E.T., SpongeBob, or Chucky.
Next, youโll be asked whether the profile is for a child. If you choose โYes,โ the platform will restrict content to family-friendly titles, ideal for children and teenagers. If you click โNo,โ the full content library becomes available. Finally, give the profile a nameโit can be a nickname, family role, or first nameโand hit โDoneโ to save it.
Editing or deleting an existing profile
Once created, profiles are easy to edit or remove at any time. To do this, tap the pencil icon beneath the profile name. From here, you can change the avatar, name, display language, or adjust parental controls.
You can also deactivate features like autoplay for previews, ensuring a quieter browsing experience. If someone leaves your household, their profile can be deleted, and a new one can be created in its placeโthe five-profile limit applies only to active profiles, not deleted ones.
SkyShowtime makes it simple to manage and personalize your viewing experience, especially when multiple users share the same account.
